Jossie Abraham, DPM

Dr. Jossie Abraham brings extensive training, advanced surgical expertise, and a passion for patient-centered podiatric medicine to Arch Foot Care in Norwalk, Connecticut. She is board-certified and an active member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, American Board of Podiatric Medicine, American Podiatric Medical Association, and Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association.



A 2006 graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Abraham completed her residency at Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with additional training at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland, and the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre. She also completed two prestigious fellowships: Foot and Ankle Deformity Correction at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, and an AO Trauma Fellowship in Liestal, Switzerland.

Inspired by her own sports-related foot and ankle injuries during high school, Dr. Abraham has developed a strong focus on sports medicine and complex foot and ankle surgery. She is especially skilled in treating severe bunion deformities and is recognized as one of the pioneering surgeons in the United States to perform minimally invasive bunion surgery.


Dr. Abraham works closely with her patients to create individualized treatment plans, both surgical and non-surgical, designed to meet their specific goals. Residing in Southington, Connecticut, she enjoys an active lifestyle with her children, Blaise and Brielle, and participates in swimming, cycling, fitness classes, and golf. She also has a passion for cooking and baking from scratch.
