Devang C. Patel, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Devang C. Patel has been providing comprehensive podiatric care to the Norwalk community since 1996. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, now part of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. John Hospital–North Shores in Michigan.



Board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1998, Dr. Patel has achieved recertification in both 2006 and 2016. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is certified in specialized procedures such as cryotherapy and osteotripsy for the treatment of heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and neuromas. His professional affiliations include the American Podiatric Medical Association, Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Currently serving as Section Chief of Podiatry at Norwalk Hospital, Dr. Patel is also a member of the Clinical Operations Committee at Norwalk Surgery Center. He remains committed to advancing his surgical and treatment skills through ongoing medical education, participates as a member of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, and reviews research for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
